Me and my crew had a blast at Apartments Dubelj. The rooms were hella spacious and clean, with enough beds for all of us to crash comfortably. The Wi-Fi was solid, and the staff were super chill and helpful. Plus, there's a rad parking lot right outside, so no worries about finding a spot. We loved hitting up the nearby restaurants and grocery store - good eats and good vibes all around!
Yo, the only thing we missed was a sick party scene. It would've been lit if there was a bar or some late-night activities around the place.

Host Drago is very kind and helpful.Rooms are spotless and everything works. Very comfortable bed. Great air conditioning. Located very close to bus stop with frequent buses taking you to Old Town in 15 minutes.
Only problem for me was European hand held shower- hard to get used to as Spoiled American.

Drago, the owner, was extremely friendly and hospitable. One time I returned from the city to find a large table outside the building, with many people having dinner. I asked him if it was some sort of restaurant service, and he replied that it was a family gathering, and they were having dinner. He insisted that I have dinner with them, and offered me a glass of the wine made on his family's winery, which I thought was particularly cool. I'm not a connoisseur, but to me the wine tasted fantastic, a light local grape that was somewhere between Malbec and Merlot. I was definitely amazed at their sincere hospitality, and felt very welcome and safe. The hotel is in a very quiet place, next to a marina (for which there are many signs in the city, which was a plus). There is a patio and a table with an ambrellone on the ground floor where the tenans will meet each other as they access the wi-fi. Wi-fi was usually available in my room, but the signal was a bit weak (in this area it was great, though). The bathroom was a bit dark, but the shower was hot and plentiful. There are double-glazed windows, so even though the hotel is right next to the street, I didn't hear the cars. My room had twin beds which were extremely comfortable. I would have preffered a room with a double bed, but that wasn't available (check first). The outside is a large ciment parking lot, and simple facade. It's a simple hotel run by authentic croats, and exactly because of this, it has been one of the most memorable so far. I wish them the best of luck, and would recommend their hotel anytime.
The hotel is admittedly too far to walk (in my opinion) from the city. I rented a scooter, and could get to the main strip in dubrovnik in maybe 7 minutes. There is a gas station and convenience store across the street, which was... Well, convenient!

Great location, close to everything you need. The apartment had free parking and Wi-Fi, and a lovely terrace with barbecue facilities. The airport shuttle service was definitely a plus, although at an additional charge.
Such a shame there was no red carpet at arrival, and no personal butler to carry my luggage. How dare they not read my mind and provide everything I desire?

Suburban neighborhood with amenities available at the aci Marina for meals (breakfast, coffee) and a handy kondsum food store. Very close to the 1a, 1b, 1c buses into town making the distance from the city very manageable. Great airconditioning! Owner offered a bottle of his family's own white wine which was much appreciated!
As is customary in Europe (apartment rentals), there is no soap or shampoo offered. This customer service offering is clearly behind the times. As the Croatian tourist industry catches up, it might think of ways to make it different from the rest. Giving daily bed making and small amenities like a bottle of wine to greet the guest, and some small soap, shampoo, would clearly represent an appreciation for the expense and length of journey getting to their tourist offering. This is not a criticism, but a suggestion.

The rooms were incredibly comfortable with fluffy pillows and big blankets. Spacious and clean, with optimal wifi and air conditioning. The cleaning lady folded our clothes and washed our socks. Short bus ride to the old town, with a bus stop right next to the hotel. Conveniently located near a small grocery store and a delicious, inexpensive restaurant.
Felt very cared for, no complaints.

The apartment location is fantastic as it is near to Dubrovnik city and the bus stop is just a few hundred feet away, making it super convenient to get to the city. there are markets nearby and lots of parking space which is a plus for those driving. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for a family of four, and we enjoyed the lovely view from the balcony.
The kitchen in the apartment was lacking in equipment making it difficult to cook a proper meal. the noise from the busy road outside made it difficult to sleep with the windows open at night.
